I'm really into the Wild West at the moment, and since I just had to use this technique for a one-off job for Hasbro, I thought I'd have a little bit of fun on this, my night off. :)

Tales From Lincoln County literally popped off the top of my head, it's not actually something I'm working on, so's ya know.

Hah! Quite a very cool technique to make that look like a haggered old comic. Not only the tearing, but the grainyness caused by old school printing.

Fantastic!
Nice weathering, my friend.
Tommy Travis looks quite the shady character (one I could imagine meeting in a dark alley...and mayhaps NOT running the other way). I love the crinkle-tastic cover. I've got many a comic in my cedar chest that look exactly like this!

It's just a walk on the sand...
Really cool. I love the effect you used to make it look like a used cover. Nice. I to love westerns. For a Few Dollars more is my fav of all time.
That ... is ... awesome. :)
Oh I see how it is now...it's out with the school boys and in with the cowboys! HAHAHAHA

Nice cowdude Jack :)
Splendid work Jack. Very weathered looking but still easily recognisable as your own fine work.

Oh and I apologise for not saying sooner but cheers for the sketchbook - it's tip-top!

Andy
Looks Great man.
Keep it up :D
That looks fab! How did you get that tattered, much-read look to the cover?

If you let people know that you're human, then they'll expect it of you all of the time.
I like the faux abuse!
