I love Jeff Matsuda's designs for The Batman. Still haven't seen the cartoon, but I've got all the toys ordered from my comic shop, and of course I get The Batman Strikes every month, and I just think his Joker design is completely fabulous.

So, in need of a break after, coincidentally, illustrating a Jackie Chan strip for a UK publisher, I fancied having a bit of a Joker moment.

This isn't supposed to emulate Jeff's style, but just to make the most of the design. :)

how weird is this... I can understand, read and sing in Tagalog, BUT i can't speak it very well..... it just doesn't make any sense..

DANG, Jack! Joker looks great with your style. I agree, Jeff Matuda's designs are amazing! Looooooove the Jackie Chan Adventures too!

Tight work Jack! Love your take on the Joker's new design. To be honest I like yours better, much much better. The only design I liked from the new show was Catwoman's. The Penguin looked odd, not enough umph. I really didn't like the Marylin Manson-esque Riddler either. Gimme Timm's designs anyday! Still I really dig this pic, pro work all over! Kudos

Im actually not a big fan of his version of the Joker, but this piece is still pretty sweet none the less.

I like particularly single some designs of Jeff Matsuda's, but really joker is brilliant, and your job simulating that style in this one is great man!!!
