This is a page from a 6-page Tiger-Man story, written by Mike Bullock, drawn by me. The story's for an anthology that's coming out to raise money for the tsunami tragedy. It'll be packed full of some wonderful talent, so it'll be well worth checking out. Not to mention it's for a great cause.

NICE! I really dig your work, Jack.

Dumb question for you though...Is this a retelling of the Tiger-Man comic by Atlas Comics back in the 60's -70's?

Thanks, dude! This is an all-new character though. (Not mine, I just designed him!)

That strip was in a charity book called "Hope", which I THINK has been published. Whether or not anything happens with Tiger-Man in the future is anyone's guess.

I LOVED this story when I read it on the Runemaster site. Great use of B&W; it gives it a crime drama/'film noir'-ish feel.

By thy side,

Figaro

Yeah, the whole "noir" thing is something I want to play about with again in the future. I just love the way it looks. Noir film is so atmospheric, obviously, but I really think it can translate to the comic page too, if it's done right.
