It's so hard to use blur and make it appear understated without it dominating the image. i love how it's been used here. It's just enough to give action without screaming 'OMG BLUR'
I agree. Blur can be horrible. When Erik Larsen saw the pitch art I'd done for LTB, he looked at one panel and said, "That blur's horrible." He was right, it was, and whenever I use a blur now, it's like Erik's standing behind me going, "a little more, a little more, WOAH! Too much!" LOL
LOL, it's good to have someone tell you when you've gone a little too far over. It's a mistake i allways make and I end up destroying a really good picture
